Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was debating on holding off on full carbon rims until I got a disc frame but got these at a decent price and the frame is still in great shape. Thanks!

Super sweet, though I really don't care for the saddle.

Thanks.

The frame including the saddle is 2010. The Ultegra set I put on in 2014. Zips bars 2015, Zipp wheels 2016. Anyone know how much life you can get on average out of a carbon frame?

Now that I have the blacked out wheels on it, the saddle does sort of stick out. An all black one like the fizik antares caught my eye but I am really comfortable on the current one so I'll probably just leave it as is.

I'm a little tired of that color scheme, but it is well done here. I wouldn't change a thing.

Better looking than most Treks. Kind of dramatic, with the white saddle floating way up there. By itself, the frame reminds me of a freestyle bike.

its either weird reflections, or there's some pretty significant damage on the seat tube and post?

Spesh Roubaix Pro 30/32 tubeless and they are wonderful, lighter than 28mm Gatorskins with tubes and I run them at 50/60psi. I run Hutch Toro or Piranha for CX.

I mostly hang out with the C&V crowd, so here's a blast from the past. Early 80s Davidson, built right here in Seattle and photographed at our very own 'drome in Marymoor Park:
