I blame society not teaching people how to read.
If it is a not just state "Not"
then in bullet form explain why.

the bike is looking good! one thing though... the setting of the photo is kinda creepy.... like a underground basement dungeon.. my imagination is going wild wondering what lies under the plywood -with the oddly specific installed thin wood siding to hold the ManOcoque bike in place?
Just got some promising news in that I will most likely be inheriting a very lightly used Force group for my carbon bike. Which means I should post it now to say how it fares before and after. This also means, I will be dropping my 105 group down to the Allez. So what do you guys think as of now, before group changes?

Not hot
1. the bars and shifter placement look painful
2. The seat belongs on a vintage lugged frame
3. Mismatched wheels
4. Crank doesn't match the shifters or rear derailleur

1. pictures aren't the greatest
2. Too many spacers above the stem.
fix those 2 things and it would move to the hot category.

I would think that most people would post a HOT bike with the occasional not. seems as lately there are a lot of nots. People even posting their bike and saying ,"My mediocre contribution"!? If you know your bike is nothing more that mediocre, why post it here? post it in the "show us your bike" thread. That is NOT to say that the "NOT" bikes aren't nice, they just dont have that HOT quality about them. I realize people here have different incomes and expendable money to spend on their bikes. I am one of them. Not every "HOT" bike has to be slinging $3000 wheels though. I also understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, BUT a lot of the bikes lately that are NOT's have been hands down across the board NOT'S.
wasn't trying to be disrespectful, just tired of the well known "mediocre" bikes being posted here in this thread. I loved this thread because I could scroll through hundreds of HOT bikes. Now it seems I have to skip through pages to find a single hot picture.
Sorry, Crying done....back on topic.
regardless if this follows BF rules for the picture, this is a HOT bike. thank you for your contribution!

Yep
And yes, most people DO NOT catch that. I thought it was funny and it still obviously draws conversation. (It came about as a messed up paint scheme that I thought was hysterical. I then used it when ordering. Part of the fun of Custom. Though SuperiorLite themselves doesn't really do Custom Paint.
Lol, I could not help but chuckle when I read this. I did take these in my basement/Bike shop. The plywood floor is a raised flooring for dry storage in case it ever floods. (which it hasn't yet but very well could). The blocks of wood server a few purposes BESIDES a stand for the Manocoque. I work on my Kayaks, Backpacking gear and skis/Snowboards on that floor as well and I utilize them to keep my equipment from moving/rolling around when I work on the moveable parts. (Skis and Snowboard it's useful for linear alignment of the Bindings. If I work new ski setup this winter I will record a video of how it is used when installing my bindings.
It is a creepy wall though. Not quite as depressing as a garbage can though.

the huge edge decals, on both the front and back rims, are not clear they're opaque and even are reflective (which is actually a smart/safe move).
The reason the back decals appear white is that either there was flash used and hit the bike indirectly, or its the indirect sunlight/light source coming from another angle also hitting the seatpost decal which is reflecting white (compare that to the same emblem/logo on the stem which isn't being hit by light).

And I know, I am not a photographer for a reason. I write code, not take pictures. All I can do is follow the photo taking rules, point the camera and hope for the best. Lol. But if these are the couple of things holding me back, I consider that a great success in this thread
Yes M_Whales, a level would have helped. I think I took that picture sitting on my workbench.

@bianchi 10...you say that, but this rules start making sense, and then you stop posting pictures. At least until a great photo is taken. I've had a couple of bikes with 0 acceptable photos.
wrong side
too much angle
still HOT
