Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I disagree. Looks nothing like a Caad10. To a degree, all bicycles look pretty much the same. It's the subtle differences that differentiate the nice ones from the not-so-nice ones. Lugged carbon construction with a traditional (or sloping if you prefer) geometry is a completely different animal than the welded aluminum Caad10. In my eyes, the Colnago c59 is the epitome of a beautiful bicycle. Then again, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder so it's impossible to prove one bicycle looks better than another.

i agree. it is much like my aluminum bike. ok, mine is black and and campagnolo equipped but i would describe it as clean simple and attractive. not hot but it gets the job done and looks good doing it.

I can guarantee you that my Colnago is one of the cheapest bikes in this thread. In fact, I only bought it because I wanted a cheap carbon fibre road bike with some decent parts on it, I just got lucky is all. Assuming that a person would buy a bike only because it is expensive and flashy shows your own insecurities, not ours.

This one was cheap too, I wanted to give titanium a try and, again, got lucky.

You lost me. What does expensive bikes have to do with someones sense of security? Riding an ugly bike wouldn't make me insecure, in fact I think too much "flash" can often create a poser, Fred, etc.

please explain why. is because you love the looks? is it because of performance? based on looks alone (beauty in the eye of the beholder....ya ya ya ya) every one of those calnago's are hideous. I guess if your into the old classic look I can understand, but I have never been one for classic anything.

Speaking of steel colnagos I sold off the campy super record bits that came with mine and bought a 10 speed campy group from ribble.

The road feel and handling are second to none IMO. Feels completely different from carbon or aluminum. Haters gonna hate as they say, I've always found colnagos appealing and now that I am fortunate enough to own one I have to say that it has exceeded my expectations. I'd imagine a new one would be even better than my old SL frame. Who knows. Interesting mine is from 1983 and it looks a lot like the new master.

Truvativ elita gxp. It works totally fine but I wish I could afford something lighter and better looking. Weighs 910g with the bb which is a standard sram gxp. Besides that the bike is fully shimano.

I kind of like these as well but will never pay the premium price people ask for them. I also like the early 2000 aluminum Colnagos with the straight chromed fork.

Guys a bike can be awesome (ex Colnago) but you gotta take a picture that meets the specific criteria for "HOT" its not easy. And even after it might end being a "NOT" if its ugly. Lol

As an example i have a "NOT" bike, it's an awesome bike that helps me go really fast!
Someday i will post a "HOT" bike. Until then im gonna become a hot r not police

They are posts from last month. I didn't craft a thing, you set yourself up. I didn't have to go looking, your
trolling is pretty easy to remember.

I thought mods banned trolls?
