Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Take the picture from a little bit higher angle also. be level with your bars. Different seatpost and cut that stem and Its got a possible hot from me. Black bar tape looks much gooder IMO.

there's an italian guy on weight weenies that went crazy with a similar looking klein pro. . also I don't know if your stem specifically is part of the recall but specific Icon Stems are offically for recall on a lot of 1999-2000 Trek and Klein bikes.

Those Rolf wheels are durable/bomb proof and have a cult following. you can actually get a lot on eBay for them.

Yeah, I was too lazy to break out the nice camera today, I snapped this with the phone.

I cut about 10mm off of the steerer tube today...I'm going slowly - not sure why considering I won't be happy until it's slammed.

The seatpost though? No love for the 3T dorico? Honestly, I was just looking for 3T black stuff, this is my first experience with it and it's already came loose once - mid ride my seat just started wobbling everywhere. Looking at the photo it looks like my saddle is slammed forward, but it's actually pushed quite far back. The saddle will be switched out again at some point, just not sure what to go with.

I'm happy with my progression so far, considering I just started this hobby in February with a bikes direct fixed gear bike and here I am today. I had to have a spoke replaced today and I couldn't take my eyes off of the cannondales the entire time I was in the shop. Who knows, maybe I'll update the frame in 6 months time the way I'm going.

Very good to know, thanks for the heads up. I have a new stem and bars on order.

Would be if...
1- stem flipped,
2- seat matched tape
3- Tires bleck
4- rims black.
Way too much orange red makes it decidedly cool.

Almost hot--something seems a bit skinny about that fork compared to the rest of the frame.

This is a very clean and well color balanced bike with the over-used red, white, black scheme. I don't know that I would call it "hot", but certainly good looking.

This is one of the few bikes I've seen that looks good with colored cables. Not quite sold on the red hoods though.

I posted my Yuba Boda Boda before, but now it has a fancy new custom trailer that I made myself. Also added a matching bamboo cage.

Yeah, I know that the photo is non-drive side, but with trailers it's all about the 'hitch side'. ;-)
Also, no one on the planet (that I am aware of) makes 20" cream colored tires. Dammit!

This is so over the top that I vote Hot. The batter's helmet is a bit much, I think, though.

What in the world do you use this bike for?

"Batter's Helmet"? That's a Bern Watts cycling helmet. I did custom paint it though.
I use this bike instead of a car for hauling groceries, packages, people, etc around town.
On the 4th it will carry a big cooler, camp chairs, 2 dogs, & a canopy to the park & back.
I also made the custom front basket liner and rear platform pad.

I'm not sure that it's a cycling helmet. (juust kidding) Still looks like a batter's helmet, though sorry...
