Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Both hot. I'm not a huge fan of the orange, but it's still a hot bike

What's not to like about the Alchemy. Zipp stem, aero seatpost, and a Handmade in Denver label.

I don't mind the colors on the Fondriest, but it just seems they added more gratuitous curves than necessary.

I think it is hot. Usually this many graphics and logos make a bike look way weird, but this one does it well.

Thanks for the feedback, all. I agree with the overly splashy graphics - almost nascar-ish. Unfortunately, they're sealed under a clearcoat, so no way of scraping them off Other than that, I'm really happy with the look of it.

Plus you get points for expending a modicum of effort in staging the picture well...

Haha, well it is a bike I ride on the road, just not the traditional geared road bike accustomed to this thread. I tried the no brake thing briefly. I can do it, but I don't really enjoy it, nor do my knees.

Presumably because the owner is not a fan of the "solid object" stopping technique.

The Kestrel looks like it's suffering from an identity crisis.

Overall, I think it's hot. I'm not a huge fan of the white fork, and the handlebars are also distracting but maybe that's the angle of the shot.

^Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. Wheels clash a bit. Is the front run of that rear brake cable a little tight?

Too much stuff hanging off the Kestrel. Could be hot, with work.

I like the Ritchey.
