It's a slight difference in leverage - supposedly it takes a harder squeeze on the brake lever to give equal stopping power; hasn't been a problem for me.

Is this the "Hot or Not" photo thread? Or, the Shimano Lever/brake compatability thread?
And, yes, the hidden cable levers pull more cable than the previous exposed shifter cable versions. So, braking will old calipers and newer style levers will be firmer and less powerful.

If I were buying a new bike now, it'd be this but with black tape, saddle, and cages.. Couldn't find a pic of one properly staged but Hot or not?

I like, although I don't know that I've ever seen a Bianchi that looks like a Bianchi than this.

I get it, haven't spent too much money on it it was one of the least expensive carbon bikes they had at the time. I'm resolving some of the glaring problems as we speak. I'll post a revised shot at some point. Hope I'm not perceived as a poseur, that would suck. Just fairly new to road cycling and trying to properly enjoy the hobby. The lbs fit me on the bike like that last year but I've since flipped the stem and am working down on the spacers as I continue to get used to it this season. Probably won't get slammed but certainly better.

The bike looks very "busy" ... Loose the bag, bend the housing back ( might need replaced, if kinked took bad ) get 1 more red cage ( or just take the white one off ), peel stickers off rims ...
Bam, instant hot from not ... it will, only cost you one 44$ blackburn cage.
"Fliped & slamed" would help a lot... but, I do under stand not everyone is 20 years old ...

Here is my bike, the day I baught it off the PO. ( Note: he already took of the huge ORANGE Trek/Bontrager saddle bag & his BLUE bottle cages )

2011 Carbon Synapse Frame, Ultegra 6800 11 Speed, SLK Compact Crank, Mavic Aksium wheels (I know I cheaped the wheels) This could probably fall in the budget category as well. Total build cost was $1350. Which will leave me some time to save and buy some nicer wheels. Rides like a dream.

It's hard to match that 'Sagan' green...might be better not to try. Otherwise I think it looks nice.

IMO get rid of that green bartape. It doesn't match the bike at all.
For me, it's a not as it sits. Frame has real potential, but don't like your current set up.

Random question...I've seen colored spokes before, but they're usually around the valve to make it easy/fast to find the valve or whatever. What is the point of them if they're not by the valve?
