Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

NOT. Particularly ugly saddle and position; blue pedals; aero seat tube and non aero seat post; stem looks clunky with spacers top and bottom; bars rotated up too far, etc etc etc

im a college student. i cant afford to buy a bike worth 2 quarters of tuition and i wouldnt want to race a bike that nice anyway.

broke the 7700 shifter so now i have a 105 shifter. i think its so ugly that its actually hot there should be an "ugliest bike that you have the balls to ride in front of people" thread. i would win that

Go ahead and start one. But don't be too confident.

Your garage doors are horrible, it is wrong side of the bike, and there is saddle bag on it.
Fix all that and we can talk about it.

Finally have a bike I'm not too afraid to post...

New pics will come when I get proper bottle cages, another spacer for lowering the stem the rest of the way, and take the decals off the wheels.

Sadly enough, this is not my bike, it belongs to a 70-year-old car mechanic. Fixies are still quite popular here in Tokyo, and this old oji-san decided to upgrade his wife's old 24" grocery bike into something more "クール." I wouldn't call it クール or かくいい, but it is definitely unique...
