Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like it. The orange on front/black in rear looks good. Sets it apart from all the black/black and black/white bikes. Nice touch with the orange Mavic logos. The more I look at it the more I like it. I'm going with hot. Good work.

Me too, but the frame was a warranty replacement and I'm not sure about how to go about toning it down.

I have to agree. The old Campy stuff has much more aesthetic appeal! But yes those wheels are sharp!

the logo on the downtube is tolerable, but the janky one on the top tube really needs to go...what designer thought that was a cool idea...

sorry, no clever ideas on how to cover it up tho...

Right, and I think they caught on pretty quick. Mine is 2016. The 2017 bike has most of the same design, except the top tube logoing. Check out https://rallycycling.com/partners/diamondback/

Hot, try to find a conical headset spacer, I think it would improve the look up front.

Guess I don't need to post my bike in here since it's the exact same one with the same wheels. Only difference is the stem and I just threw an Ultegra long cage on back to go with an 11-32 for the hills.

Nice to see another SL owner here! Actually, when I built it, I took off all the 105 stuff and replaced them with the Ultegra 6800 stuff from my old frame, withthe exception of the 6700 brakes I'm using. Saddle and bars were also swapped out along with the stem. I love this frame! You should post yours as well!

How to make it hot? I really don't like plain black and white bikes, but this was less than half of costs and had zero miles on it so I had to take it and couldn't pass the deal by.

The question is what would you do to make it hot? I was thinking about maybe some type of decal on the seat tube to add some color or maybe a tribal decal down the center? I could change the seat bar tape and pedals, but I was hoping to do something a bit more inventive if possible. Any suggestions?
