Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Aluminum Campagnolo Brake Levers

I currently have a mid-80's steel bike that is equipped with 6-speed Campy Super Record. This is a riding bike, and not a show bike (the original components will be kept for posterity). The braking performance isn't all that good - the old single-pivot brakes are kind of creaky and don't stop all that well, even with new pads. I want to replace the brakes/levers with dual pivot calipers and aero levers. I would like to replace everything with Campy components. I can easily get a set of 10-speed centaur brakes, but need a set of aero levers. The only new Campy levers I can find are the record carbon levers, but I want something that looks a bit more like the original equipment. The Cane Creek SCR-5 levers look pretty good, but aren't Campy. Any suggestions? Did Campy make any aluminum brake levers in the last 10 years or so?
