Covering bikesdirect logos with black gloss vinyl sheet
Hello everyone, I'm new to biking. I ordered a Windsor Knight out on a whim to commute to campus, but what I can't stand as far as its appearance goes are the "Windsor" and "Knight" logos. I want to black them out, but still keep the rest of the frame decals. I like the medieval shield crests. Has anyone ever blacked out logos with vinyl sheeting? I can always remove the vinyl if I disapprove of it.

It should transform the bike this to this:
Which looks much classier IMO. The defunct Windsor brand is nothing to brag about.

Why are you going to make it heavier?
Just take it apart, have it repainted. While you're putting it back together, consider which parts you can lighten or replace.
