Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

PBK Chamois Cream

Has anyone used this? If so, what do you think?

I currently use Chamois Butt'r and wanted to give Assos a try. However, PBK is sold out of Assos, which directed me to the page in question.

No way. I only trust my junk to DZ Nuts. Use this stuff and you will need no further maintaintance.

It makes me ride stronger, my moustache is shinier and fuller, and I can throw things farther.

i bought a tub to try out. it has the consistency of very runny yogurt. can't say i liked it very much compared to assos. but in saying that, it does what it is suppose to do.

I use Chamois Butt'r Eurostyle (the one in the tub/jar not the tube). It has more or less the same stuff in it as the Assos. It's the same price but the jar is bigger. The other Chamois Butt'r - the one in the tube - does have an interesting unexpected benefit in that it takes chain grease out of clothes really well.

ravenmore...does the eurostyle seem to be thicker than the tube style?...do use the same amount?....I use the regular chamois buttr and I'm wondering if the eurostyle is worth the extra $

I like the Eurostyle much better. I like the menthol (cooling sensation) and the fact it has alcohol and witch hazel in it which kills bacteria and helps prevent infections (saddle sores). If it had tea tree oil it would be perfect. I like to keep a little of the regular stuff around for getting chain grease outta stuff.
