Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

newbie question

I bought a Fuji Newest 3.0 about 2 months ago and fell in love with it, however, the tires are not so great, the tires that came stock are 700x25c kendas and I want to upgrade, but I'm (again, complete newbie) not sure if the 700x23c tires I'm looking at will fit, I live about an hour from the nearest bike store so I can't very well swing by there to see if they will fit. Will a set of 700x23c tires fit on my rims?

Where did you buy that new Fuji? Why not ask them. They would know your rims.

Bike stores or manufacturers take a lot of liberty in swapping components on bikes. Some of it is price point sensitive. So the wheelset that you have may not necessarily be the same wheelset for the same Fuji in another part of the country or in a matter of months.

For instance, I just got a new frameset and the web site says the seat post is a certain model. But it turns out that I got something different. Same could go for the fork.

You can also get the make, model, of your wheelset and do a web search. You might find what tires that will fit.
