Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone remember 53-11alltheway??

I used to read these forums a good bit when I was in dental school. Now that I am working I don't have as much time. Two questions. Does anyone know what happened to 53-11alltheway? Pretty funny guy. The other question is did 55/rad get ever get his Tete painted?

53-111lltheway (was he on a fixie?) was one of the better trolls. I miss him and Euro.

The 55/rad Tete saga continues. Perhaps it will be continued in the Classic & Vintage forum before long.

While we are being nostalgic did you know that this is the 1st anniversary of the "Don't taze me, bro" quote?

As neither (53-11 or the Tete) have been seen or heard of in awhile, Urban Legend has it that Rad bludgeoned 53-11 to death with his Tete.

Yeah, I knew if it was still ongoing I might be rubbing a little salt in the wound. Sorry 55/rad. It is nice to see a ton of the same names that were here four years ago.

Tete? What is a tete?

Saga continues....

As for 53/11, I have fond memories of him.

Hey 55/Rad, good to hear from you. I always enjoyed your posts. 53-11 was hilarious. Sorry to bring up the Tete. The other day I flipped on Days of Our Lives for the first time in about 15 years. I was home sick from work. It was the same two people I saw when my housekeeper watched it when I was young. Unfortunately, the Tete saga is the same way. Still, it is good to be back.

I remember 53-11, a much better troll then some of the others ::cough fujicyclist, EURO, cough:: . I too have returned after a period of break (only to return to this expensive hobby).

Where is Viperz? and the guy who used to do UFC and always have an infatuation with comparing Jan's quads to his own (Cypress maybe?)?

And I am STILL waiting for the Tete to be done.

Looks like there were two different 53-11 user names on there, I assume the same person as the dates don't overlap.

The last Tete post I see:

IIRC, he underwent a voluntary permanent ban and had his user ID and all of his posts purged. He then changed his mind and came back with the new modified version of his user ID.

I recall that.... Is there anything you'd like to say?

How about the underwear nazi? He turned the mundane and frequent underwear questions into entertaining threads.

53-11 was actually a pretty okay guy, name aside . . . one of my favorites really. Euro on the other hand kinda ruined the forum for me for a while. I had to give it up or risk headbutting my monitor!

Both 53-11, MERTON, and UnderwearNazi stirred things up in a good way. EURO, on the other hand...

Actually came back from a 3 year break from this forum and I remember all those guys! Isn't R600durace the guy that has a powermeter and dials it up to infinity each ride? Or am I thinking of someone else?
