Rear derailleur hanger position
I was washing my bike a few days ago and when I wanted to make some small adjustments to the rear derailleur I noticed something odd about it's position. I'm not sure whether it's supposed to look like this or not...
When I'm looking from behind I can see that the hanger is turned a bit to the right. It's like the hanger follows the angle of the chain instead of being straight and following the angle/line of the bike frame ?
Is that normal or is it due to a bent/damaged/wrong mounted hanger ? The rear derailleur shifts without problems although.

They make an alignment tool just for this. The hole that the RD threads into is used and referenced to the rear wheel. The tool should measure exactly parallel to the wheel at all points.
