I'm a Campy owner (I've got my reasons and vanity ain't one of them), but I hate to tell you... Campy does break. No photos of my own stuff, but here are a few that took about a minute to find on the WWW. The older SuperRecord and Record cranks seemed to break at the pedal hole moreso than any other place and that's where mine broke many moons ago.

If money is no object go buy a long haul trucker or a CAAD9. Then go buy the cervelo.
Do you really want to ride your 5k sub 16lbs carbon fiber bike in all situations? This is why you have a beater bike for rain, crap roads, night riding for the accident prone, and for getting beat up by fred's huffy at the bike rack.
You need more bikes. Go out and buy a few.

Btw - if money were no object I'd look seriously at the latest offerings from Giant and Time. They beat the snot outta just about everything else.

It would be one of these . . . .
Or ALL of them . . . money's no object.

You haven't ridden enough miles to know what's good yet. I can tell because you've never broken anything. I've busted a Ti frame, two crank sets, and a few other parts over my 20 years of doing this. The lastest casualty was a water bottle cage, that broke today. I went to put the bottle in and it went straight out the back.
Oh snap.
It has since been replaced.

If money doesn't matter, get a custom frame and deck it out with whatever components you want. Look for custom frame builders in your area that you can work with face-to-face. If there aren't any good ones, find a good local shop that does custom frame fittings and work with them on picking a builder. Maybe Serrota, Seven, Calfee, or Parlee?

Oh yeah, that's what I want if money is no object, a nice, exotic, gotta-have-it friggin Giant bicycle.

Cervelo is beautiful. I'd also consider a Look though, but I'm biased.

the line is blurry, but exists.
How many of you are suggesting schwag for schwag's sake? You know what I'm talking about.
How many of you *cough*ravenmore*cough* are suggesting a bike that rides as well as the schwag and you couldn't tell it from a storck unless you looked between your legs?
Maybe the OP just wants to enjoy his riding experience and doesn't have a schwag-*****.

I can almost guarantee that everyone above who took a shot at Giant has not touched or even seen their 2009 TCR Advanced SL. Stiffest bike, ever, according to my boss who rode one at Interbike.
And they are the biggest bicycle manufacturer in the world right now.
And there is a greater chance that Giant made the frame on your bicycle than anyone else.
And they are the only bike company in the world (besides, small, local companies, and custom builders) that makes all of their own frames from scratch. They even buy raw carbon fiber and weave it themselves.

I am riding the Pinarello currently. But my dream bike if money were not an option would be the Look 586, SRAM and Zipps (13.2 lbs).
