Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Schwag balance

As we descend into the hell of winter and entertain a garage full of projects, I know I'll never be a Schwag Prince, but I do offer balance. Because there is more to life than bike $hit. The latest offerings from the boys in brown:

M965 hubset for wheelbuilding projects

A Veritas Low Angle Jack plane (A2 blade for tool geeks)

And some scrapbooking machine for the missus I have no understanding about:

How are the Veritas planes? I have not tried any of them.
I am a fan of the old stanly low knob bench planes, never was a fan of the newer high knob type.

Have no idea. But my wife decided she wanted a cherry bed and two nightstands in two weeks so, I'll be finding out very soon.

Only if you buy a scrapbooking machine to balance it.

Dude, if my wife asked for a scrapbooking machine, I would 1) laugh directly in her face, 2) Ask her WTF for, and 3) likely see a divorce lawyer...

Scrapbooking is the point where you just give up on life and start hoarding cats...
