Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cassette question

I have a 08 Trek 1.2 with the awesome 2200 setup. The wife is bound and determined to buy me a new groupset so I'll shut up. I really want to go 20 speed. I know ride what you have yadda yadda. Anyways.
here's the location for the 'specs' of my bike https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2008/archive/12

My question is will a 10 speed cassette fit on the current hub that I have or am I looking at getting another wheel. If I get a new group a new wheel(set) is out of the question for a while. I know that looking at most hubs they are 8,9,10 speed compatible and only need adapters for 7 speed setups.

Also am I safe to assume that the bottom bracket is english thread? I don't know everything but I'm learning.

Thanks for the help.

I emailed trek to find out and I'm 'assuming' I have a FH-2200 on the rear. I could be wrong. I've looked at the compatibility charts but get confused.
cycle.shimano-eu.com/publish/content/cycle/seh/nl/en/technical_service/faq_s/...charts.../Road_compatibility_chart_2008.pdf.pdf This one shows it being compatibile, i think, the lines get confusing. Help please?

Thanks!

8sp wheels will work with 10sp cassettes. the wheels are probably all alex parts.

trek uses an English/ISO BB, 68mm width for road.
