Anyone know about NESS carbon wheels?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone know about NESS carbon wheels?

They appear to be similar to Zipps but at less than half Zipp price (AUS$999 - Zipp 404s approx AUS$2.5K).
Specs -
50 mm PROFILE FOR AERODYNAMIC ADVANTAGE
CARBON FINISH 3K
BLADED SPOKES TO CUT THROUGH THE WIND
9/10 SPEED SHIMANO CASSETTE COMPATIBLE
SMOOTH ROLLING SEALED BEARING HUBS
WEIGHT: 1470 gr

Are these wheels any good?

Gigantex rims/Generic hubs/Generic spokes.

Stay away and start looking for a used pair of the real deal.

They weigh a lot more than a carbon tubular should.

We don't even know what "those" hubs/spokes are.

Odds are they are totally fine wheels. Gigantex rims are totally acceptable, you're taking a chance on the hubs, but odds are they are also totally fine, and if the spokes totally suck they are cheap to replace. As for what they should weigh, 1500 grams is totally acceptable for a wheelset. Yes you can get carbon tubulars that weigh in at 1000 grams or less, but that's not the point is it? They're much more aero. I personally wouldn't buy tubulars, but it's up to you.

There's actually only about 200g weight difference between the NESS wheels and Zipp 404s.
