Gigantex rims/Generic hubs/Generic spokes.
Stay away and start looking for a used pair of the real deal.

Odds are they are totally fine wheels. Gigantex rims are totally acceptable, you're taking a chance on the hubs, but odds are they are also totally fine, and if the spokes totally suck they are cheap to replace. As for what they should weigh, 1500 grams is totally acceptable for a wheelset. Yes you can get carbon tubulars that weigh in at 1000 grams or less, but that's not the point is it? They're much more aero. I personally wouldn't buy tubulars, but it's up to you.
