Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

what are the parts gonna be used for? just spares or for a commuter? if its just spares i wouldn't bother, unless you know that you have a major crash every 6months or you ride 20k miles a year and replace the entrie drive train so often. for a commuter its not a bad deal, but its alot of work to take off parts and put it onto a different frame, just for eyelets too.

if you want a groupset buy a decent level one on ebay, say sram or ultegra and use the live.com 25% off thing, you could get it around 500 or 600, and have much higher quality parts.

Are you considering buying a Diamondback bike with those components. If so, yes that is a great deal. Do it. Even if those parts had been removed from a Diamondback bike, you could probably do a decent build up with them and still not blow a budget. You'd have to be careful though.
