Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i want to see what there is for frames

I'm doing a longterm project and the end result will be a nice new frame with a mix of campi chorus and centaur. i have a frame with campi veloce on it now, so i'm going to upgrade components and eventually transfer them to a new frame.

i plan on spending a nice chunk of change on this, so i want to think everything through. i'll have plenty of time to do that because it'll take a while to get the money and parts for it.

as far as frame, i want something with race geometry. i'm going to some racing. likely it'll be crits. I don't want carbon, either stays or whole frame. fwiw, i'll likely ride a 58-60.

also, i want lesser known brands, non-mainstream if you will. so price at this point is no concern.

if you're gonna crit race just get a cannondale and call it a day.

If money isn't an object, get a top end titanium rig...which is to say just about anything in ti because there's no real low end market in titanium. Cheap aluminum and carbon fiber do that better.

So, pick one of the well know ti brands...Serotta, Lynsky, Moots, Litespeed, Seven, Dean, Bill Holland, etc. Just be prepared to open the wallet.
