    Clamp Diameter for CAAD9?

What is the front derailleur clamp diameter on a CAAD9 frame? Also, what's your opinion on using a braze on derailleur with a clamp adapter vs a derailleur with a built in clamp?

I asked this question a bit ago - and it seems the answer is a 35 clamp or 34.9 braze. Ive seen multiple cadd9s done either way.

    34.9.

I run a SRAM Red braze-on with the Parlee clamp.

I thought it would shift poorly but I can't even tell the difference between it and the heavy metal clamp I used to have on there.

Just go with a standard clamp-on FD. They work like champs.
It's not how many miles you ride, but how hard you ride them. Time trials aren't races.

I could not find the dura ace in 35 clamp - had to go 34.9.

I think Ultegra has a 35 clamp readily available.
