Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I used to post on another cycling board where the mods were constantly at war. They would delete and edit posts to bolster their own point of view....it was kind of anarchy.

This is great, now botto can be the Foo President in Exile here, since the Foo Wimminz took over in the other Foo the first time he turned his back and went out for a little Thai food (freakin sneaky wimminz). I'm here for ya, b...this is just the place to plan our own Bay of Foo coup.

There are wimminz in this forum, too, Chip. B's going to have to bring his A game if he wants to be RF Foo Prez.

Lets see if you can get 10K posts in this thread by spring. I don't think the roadies can do it, though, unless pcad gets involved.

Hey, did any of you guys have one of these? I had one growing up in the 70's, thing was a blast. When winter time came we would replace the front wheel with the ski, tie a rope to the rear and a sled to the rope and away we went. It had a disc brake which eventually stopped working but we still drove it without brakes.....good times!

Yeah, Botto, it might need a better (read: racier) title. But it's a step in the right direction. And one of the ladies showed up, so that can't be a bad thing.

agreed.

now all they have to is: get rid of the for trade thread; put the newbie warning sticky in the geekathon FAQ thread, and we're good.

He's already prez, albeit a deposed prez. If you want a piece of him you gotta get through me. (I can be bribed with bakery and/or sex)
