Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Our space is also something of mud room as you can enter the room via a stairway in the garage and it adjoins our master closet & bath.

The room sits over about 1/3 of the garage and doubles as a work-out room and as my music room: who'd of thought there'd be two "chambers" in this thread with Tubas sitting around...

crappy iPhone pic.

later.
First I look at the bikes. Post number 5..... Six bikes.. Maybe one is Titanium... Like your coral..
Photo number two.. Nice exercise room. It'd be like the Tour de France with a bike race dvd . But, a wine chiller... I prefer a good Riesling following a ride on the steel pony...[/QUOTE]

You suck. My lounge\living room doesn't even look that good.

^.. My apologies.. No reason an exercise / lounge room can't be in the living area. Naugahyde upholstery maybe. You can even sit down afterwards, with a sweaty body.

I hope no offence was taken, I was kidding. My workout room is workout slash storage room. You will see my young blokes toys plus my gear, plus old lounges, plus old book cases etc.

Hey Grumpy, you kind of sound a bit like Bill Strickland, one of the editors of bicycling magazine (check here)
any connection?

Just because Dell greased somebody at your company is nothing to be proud of.
I'm surprised an informed rebel like yourself remains in their employ.

You could at least have the decency to own a Mac at home.

"You have to make sure you're in the right gear if you want to play the tuba while riding a bicycle"

HILLARIOUS. Thanks for the great thread. I might get the motivation to take a pic of my torture room. In summary though, it's in a cluttered garage with a tiny dvd player. At least it sits next to a 1960 Triumph.

Actually... almost 1 in 10. And if you just look at home consumer use, 1 in 5.

Yes. How can you tell? Did they only release the green in Australia?

1 in 5 at home maybe. 1 in ten overall - it's hard to intrepret their data because it's based on how many users access the 'net with the systems - I don't think it shows units. And article says shares of MS OS use of 'net goes down at night and weekends because businesses close during those times, and November has more weekend days and holidays, so like the 25,000 MS OS machines at our company get zero usage or close to 0 during those times.

It said

In November, 89.6% of users who connected to the Web sites that Net Applications Inc. monitors did so from systems powered by Windows, a drop of 0.84 of a percentage point from October.

The more home users who are online, using Macs and Firefox and Safari, the more those shares go up," he said. November was notable for a higher-than-average number of weekend days, as well as the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., he said.

That's not units sold or units in use, that a measure of how many access the 'net. And if I use FireFox, that does not count in their measuse towards a MS OS peg count, and I suspect a ton of MS OS users use FireFox.

It simply seems to be a measure of OS hits on the net as measured by sites monitored by a company called 'Net Applications.

Good info, though. And I do like the Apple commercials, but I'd never buy one for Business use
