Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Floyd Landis showed to WBL ride

In Athens Georgia during the winters the have the legendary Winter Bike League rides. They Start at Sunshine Cycles and start in December with 70 mi and go up to 114 by Feburary. There have always been a lot of pro's show up and I don't both to drive the 2 hours to get there until a few times in Janurary and Feburary. But December 6th Floyd Landis decided to come along. Pictures here. He is hard to spot and they didn't take many of him.

Wait till you see the pics of the 3 wheel recumbent leading the line. You'll really blow your load then.

That guy on the recumbent works for Blue Competion Cycles. He was hit by a car earlier in the year and now has no use of his legs. This tells his story https://www.slowtwitch.com/News/Ryan_...jured_344.html, he was a Cat1.They were letting him lead the way as a calibration that he is back on a bike. And the starting temp would have been around 34°.

Serious!

I got cold just looking at it!

He was at the Como ride in Irvine about a month or so ago. Who knows, he just travels around and rides.

Georgia looks awfully white.

Oh, Food Park. I do those. I didn't know it was called the Worlds.
I missed the time Landis was there but I was at the one next day with Amber.
