Besides, 'cross season will end in the spring. And by then we can have our builds done in time for the better weather. (I say this on the 22nd of December in normally rainy Vancouver, where we are snowed in.)

I was under the impression that PF has a hard time getting this frame. It seems they never had it when I was in the market for one. I'd give them a call and make sure you can get one.

The Fusion might be the only PF frame I would not be interested in.
On a different, but related, subject -- the CX-1 group buy is going incredibly poorly. It might not make!

A group buy on a 2007 frame is a bit late to the party. Jayc has/had one of those. I'm not a fan of mixed material frames.

I bought my cyclocross bike JUST before the CX-1 Group Buy came out. I even asked Pedal Force if they were planning one!

No. They're good guys. My pure road bike is a ZX3. I couldn't be happier with it or with Pedal Force's customer service.

I know; I'm just screwing around. They seem to run a pretty stand-up operation.

Seriously does anyone read anymore?
For those that haven't follwed these in the past what that means is that everyone signed up for one level is also signed up for the lower price levels. So the actual number of sign ups are as follows:
$850 - 2
$700 - 0 the two it shows are from the $850 price level
$600 - 12 (again minus the original 2, note that this level needs 50 buyers)
$550 - 17
$538 - 14
So in reality there are only 45 people signed up for this, not even enough to get the $600 price...if of course they all had signed up at that level.

Yea.. the clearcoat started coming off the titanium on mine. Pedal Force wouldnt stand behind it. That pretty much ended my relationship with Pedal Farce.

i would like to know what you end up going with... the geometry on the 2 are a big factor for me...the caad9 is 56 top and 56 seat tube..perfect size for me...and the pedal force runs 55, 55...not a huge difference but id have to adjust...
if this was for "race only" i would go for caad9 no question
but the fact that i like to do longer rides is what makes me even consider a carbon frame...but then again no one has complained about the caad9 on long rides.....i just dont know!!!
