I'm an actual user. GP 4 seasons are a pretty nice winter tire. They're kind of like a lightweight Gatorskin. The sidewalls and casing are fairly stiff but not a bad ride. They wouldn't be my choice for a fast summer tire but in cold wet weather they're quite nice.

Yes, this is a good puncture-resistant training tire, but not as supple as the Continental GP4000 or Michelin Pro Race.

I'm pushing 2k miles on a set. No complaints. Only flat was riding roads with lots of sand, glass, junk at the beach in Nags Head, NC. These replaced some Hutchison carbon comps. I have no experience with some of the popular tires such as PR2, PR3, Conti Chili, etc.

I've put about 500 miles on a set of mine and I think they roll fine. No problems.

14 months, one flat (tiny glass shard). Noticeably rougher ride than GP4000's, but they don't pick up all the road crap that tends to cut the tread.

Best tire I've ever used. Are they worth the money? Yes, yes they are. I should almost consider not bringing my flat tire repair kit because they don't happen. Their flat prevention isn't why I like them though. They corner like a dream. AND!!!!! They don't wear out really quickly.

They are a robust tire. Less supple than a Krylion Carbon. They are fairly light, mine weighed 237 grams. I've gotten one flat in a month, but I get the impression that they won't flat very often. They are noisier on my rollers for some reason. When the Krylions again become available (hopefully in a few months) I am going to switch the GP4S to my rain bike.

I didn't initially love them for the added weight they put on my ride - but this is just a vanity.
I do love them for all of the above reasons. I do also relate to the thought that I can leave my flat fix gear home. But we know what the outcome of that would be.

I've used both the ones with Vectran and the ones without.
The ones without Vectran are the worst tire I've ever used. I had something like 5 flats in two week with them before I took them off the bike.
The ones with Vectran are simply wonderful! They have excellent grip and great flat resistance.
I'd buy the ones with Vectran again in a heartbeat. I wouldn't use the ones without even if they were given to me.

BhB,
Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. It's nothing but old, stale opinions. I am sure you want nothing but fresh stuff. It's not like they've been selling the same tire for years or anything.

Thanks guys
I am sold. I just bought a pair at PBK. Happy with my Attack/Force combo and disappointed with the Ultremos (sidewall writeoff after 1000kms). Will give the 4 seasons a go.
