Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Procycling is my favourite. The quality of the photography is outstanding and the whole magazine just seems to have that nice, glossy feel about it. And it has that crazy Plastic Peloton People Cartoon. Genius!

Indeed. Bicycle Guide in the 80s was a great magazine.

Bicycle Guide changed it's name to Bicyclist sometime in the 90's. Then about a year or two later the parent company, Petersen Publishing, purchased Bike magazine and shut down Bicyclist. They should have dumped Bike instead.

Asphalt is now the bomb. It's not cheap and right now it's only quarterly...but some of the same people that produced Bicycle Guide are writing and editing. Back issues are available too...I just ordered mine
