Did you ride Christmas Day?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did you ride Christmas Day?

I just missed out on a metric century, rode approx 90km. Got the choice of 3 different group rides tomorrow, can't decide which one to go on. Each one is probably over 100km and involves hills!

No way. I've taken a few days off, and it feels good. The weather has been crap around here and I really needed a break from rollers. Hopefully I can get a ride in friday or saturday, I'm feeling like a bum

I wish! High 60's and sunny here in Big D. New bibs are dying for a check ride, but I've got a sinus infection and need to rest. Boo Hoo. Best to all BF people ( even the trolls!! ).

Goodluck on getting over that sinus infection.

I'm currently in Maine visiting family. I sure do miss Florida weather.

I didn't bring my Peugeot with me up here. But this morning I felt like riding and where we're staying my friend has a pretty nice MTB, so I went to take that out...but the tires needed a good bit of air...and the pump was malfunctioning...X_X....so no riding today. But I did try.

I just ended up burning several hundred cals on some eliptical thing...>_>

Channuka -- Day Four

I finally did a "real" ride on my 1995 Cannondale M500: 3 miles around Okeeheelee Park, here in Greenacres, FL. Loaded the bike into a friend's van, and off we went. One day at a time.

חג חנוכה שמח!

Awesome riding weather today. It was in low 50s, but a little windy. So I did a bunch of climbing and hid from the wind in the hills. Got 42 miles in before sundown.

Took a short ride: Newport Beach to Huntington Pier, on PCH and the beach path. Some sun, some rain, some fun.

Always dig seeing guys paddling out, year-round, no matter the conditions. One of the guys surfing northside Pier had no booties & hood and, trust me, that's gnarly - the water is 52-54 deg. and a building NW swell and hefty wind.

Hey...where's Beanz, Gina, Julie, L&C???

32 miles, the sun was shining the whole way. My biggest concern was the wet leaves on every single corner.

Went out for a quick 5 mile run in Hermosa Beach with one of my tri geek buddies. I wore my CSC cap, does that count as cycling?
