Nothing. They are very good frames but there are a lot of very good frames out there.

light weight, compliant ride, stiff BB: the combination of all 3. Comfort AND speed AND handling.
It does this better than any other bike.

Um compliant ride? Which model? The R2, R2.5, and RS but not the Soloist that is for damn sure.

Quality frames, just like many other companies. But they're in the spotlight now, and with that comes controversy.

that stopped being true when steel was no longer the best material to build a frame from (early 90's) and before cervelo was created.

The only Cervelo I really dig is the old Super Prodigy and that is with out ever actually riding one.

A very, very rare conjunction between excellent marketing and gullibility.

Peloton Shelter Dog
Fixed.
I'm buying the Soloist because my LBS sells them and everybody I know who has the bike swears by it. Good enough for me. Frankly the bike rides like a CF 2 x 4, but I'm buying it because it's a fast bike (i.e., aero) with a stiff BB (power transfer) and I need all the help I can get. I don't care how comfy the stupid bike is. All I care about is that it might be a tiny bit easier to close gaps on it, and all the guys I know who ride it say that's true. And they really do all seem to love the Soloist.
We'll see.
