Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Go out in to your car and look under the seats and find that soft drink coozy that you lost. The one with the thick bottom and make one. Or just get some thick rubber and double it on the side that you want to be lifted up. Cut it clean enough and no one will ever know it was home made.

Ok so I'm cheap,

What about if you just need the battery cover for the cadence sensor?
I lost mine when it wasn't fitted tightly enough...

Use could use an old piece of bar tape...

I use that as a buffer for mounting my lights onto my handlebars...and whatever else I want to protect against things that "wrap" around parts of my bike.
