Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you're going to waste my time, at least spend more than 5 seconds in Paint.

Surely you knew that was the likely result when you clicked on a pcad thread.

By the way Whoosshy, HD cut production recently. Harley sales are in the tank. Oh well. So is everything else. Let's hope it all improves soon.

Yes, PCAD that is a fact. You just made my point, and thus my verbal sparing with you ends here. In this new economic environment we need to support American workers and there products. My BMC Pro machine must go. Who is the top American race bike manufacturer? I must now buy one of there bikes and put my money where my big mouth is!! Specialized or Trek possibly?

Snot nosed college boys? Is flying the Stars and Stripes the only way for you to feel good about your cast iron dinosaur? Besides at 700ish pounds, pcaddies ride is hardly a crotch rocket.

Trek is #1, Specialized is #2.

You will be happy to hear that Honda is moving all their motorcycle production BACK to Japan (not sure of the reason for this, I'm sure part of it was specifically to piss you off).

Good luck finding any decent components made in the US...

If the US can't compete in the economic system we pretty much created, this country deserves exactly what it gets. Too bad about that, though.

Apparently you've never been overseas. People in this country put the rest of them to shame, as far as work ethic. I don't think hard working Americans put us in this situation. I also don't think most people deserve this. This is a case of greed at the top of the financial institutions, and now the people who deserve it the least will suffer the most. That's a crime!

Nice try. I just don't understand how having a slow, ill handling, heavy, overpriced motorcycle is great as long as it's American. I hear this argument all the time from HD guys who go home in their Toyota Tundras to watch their Panasonic TV's. Please... I probably spent as much time in the military as you did. Yes, I have the Stars and Stripes flying proudly at my house as we speak.
