Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice bike although I don't like the look of the seat post and fork joins in the frame.

Did you buy your bike from a shop in Houston? If so, which one?

That is pure sex.

Also, flip it.

My crash replacement came in two weeks ago they took great care of me as well. Very pleased with Orbea. I went with Black again. You ? I took it to Miami a day after it was built up man I forgot how much I like it until I didn't have it for a few weeks.

Sugar Cycles. I prefer the Missouri City location for service, but they have moved all the Orbeas to the First Colony store.

Looks great kwrides, it's a sexy bike that deserves a flipped stem.

How's the Thomson post? I've been curious about trying the setback model because I want a setback post with more than 10mm of set back but less than 25mm.

Nice bike KW! I might just have to crash my Opal and get me an Orca.

Love the post. Not a problem at all.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Sorry that pic is so dark.

If it's not rude, may I ask how much?

I plan to get it from them as well.

So..! I called "our local bike shop" to place my order for the Orca frame size 57. They took down my information only to give me a call back 2 hours later to tell me that the 2009 frame is out of production and the factory is out of them. I won't be able to get my hands on it until 2010 production starts which is in about 3 months.

Epic Fail

Have you tried the other LBS that sells Orbea? PM me if you don't know it.

I need to order from "our local bike shop" to get 30% off... so I will either wait or get a BMC
