I sold a DH bike for my friend and he bought me praxis chainrings that i wanted.
I just stripped the CRAP out of 2 of the chainring bolts and they are stuck in there pretty good. I'm trying to get these 2 buggers out right now.

Wool jersey for the upcoming winter rides:
Closeout item $30
6 pairs of Pearl Izumi socks (the new puppy forced this one) and 2 more Podium bottles. I also bought the Feedzone Cookbook. So far everything looks easy enough to make and sounds darn tasty!
Just received this...
and a couple of these...
I'm ready for winter ( the garmin mount allows me to see my 500 with the bike thong on) and summer (extra bottles).
Working hard to become a good enough cyclist so the laws of physics apply to me.

Always wanted a windproof jacket small enough to stow in a jersey pocket. Finally found one that had good reviews and was reasonably priced too. Red for me and white for wifey.
Nice jacket. I could use something like that.
CC's description of that tri clamp thingy makes it sound like it's the simplest of things (block of nylon, few screws, couple clamps) yet it's $55. Their description totally doesn't justify that price IMHO.

SRAM Red gruppo. Just left the bike shop. Should have it in about a week or so. Mucho dinero. ;-)

Bontrager Gel gloves. They are the best. Also got the Garmin mount pictured above, a must have if you have a Garmin. The 800 I put on it, IMO a must-have for touring, just fun for local rides.
Finally got my chainring bolts out. Had to drill them out but it got the job done since they were completely stripped out.
Luckily I already had my aerozine chainring bolts aside for when I got my chainrings. Went with a 52/36 mid compact. never had an all black chainring so it is going to take some getting used to appearance wise.

thanks guys! I have now taken them off and back on 3 times lol!!! First time i realized I put the small ring on backwards. Put them back on and then realized I i didn't line up the small ring with the big ring like I should have. put them back on and all looks good. Anyone need their chainrings put on?? I totally know how to do it efficiantly now HAHAHA!!
I really wasn't sure about the all black at first. I stepped back and looked at it and was like..."ehhhhh.....not diggin it." now that I have stared at it several times through the night, it has really grown on me.

Agreed! Looks great Bianchi. Can't go wrong with Praxis. Good to see the mid compacts are available now. I'll have to order a set.
Nice upgrade! When I switched over to SR11, I didn't want to give up the Rotor 3D+ crankset. The guys over at Praxis guaranteed their chainrings would work perfectly with my SR11/Rotor mix and they were right on the money. Now I'm just waiting for them to release the Campy specific chainrings so I can get rid of the grey chainrings on the chorus crankset.
Speedvagen... Yes, please.
Two new Schwalbe Durano's in 25mm width and new cleats for my shoes, they were wayyyyyy past replacing.
I am excited to try the 25mm tires though. I've run through the stock Vittoria Rubino Pro slicks, Schwalbe Ultremo ZX's, Vittoria Zaffaro Pros for winter duty and most recently a set of Michelin Pro4's (3 technically after picking up a screw in the front and needing to replace the tire). They were all 23mm and I've read lots of good things about the 25mm tire with me being around 200 pounds. First ride will be Saturday, wish me luck.
I will say I throuoghly enjoyed the Pro4's. For a race tire they were bulletproof and I maybe had one flat besides the screw incident.

I "bought" a bike clean and lube from the shop as my white bike was black after a century. Went ahead and bought new bar tape and decided to try out the green color. I picked it up yesterday and I'm afraid to report, I now own a hipster bike . But at least she looks clean.
