Where'd you get RX versions of those sunglasses? I'm looking for some but I fear my Rx is too strong (-7 diopter).RX Sunglasses:
Finished up building my (first!) wheelset. DT Swiss 350 hubs with H+Son Archetype rims.
Finally made the leap from mountain bike shoes and SPDs on my road bike to road shoes and SPD-SLs! These are Shimano R107 shoes and I bought black 105 pedals with them.
Most recent thing I bought for my bike was a piece of 1" OD 3/4" ID 6061 aluminum tube:
Which had a couple day's worth of free time put into it to become this:
My old Peugeot has an odd seatpost size, 23 something or other i don't remember off the top of my head. But the old chrome steel seatpost needed to be put on a diet, so a new, custom milled and drilled alloy ought to work!
Got myself a dinky 6 litre (380g) backpack today. It should hold the essentials.
2012 Trek 7.6 FX & 2013 Trek Domane 6.2
Just bought: A new Lyzene Classic floor pump (white), New Fizik Antares K:ium saddle (white/red), Bike wipes, wheel bag (cutter) and a new tire (Continental GP 4000S 23mm) for my new HED H3 trispoke wheel (front) or yeah and a package of stinger waffles energy disks.
I gues a custom paint job counts as a purchase too. A teaser shot of my Noah Pro from the custom painter.
Speedvagen... Yes, please.
I don't remember what the limit on their lenses is. I seem to remember that Tifosi polycarbs only go to -3. I only need -0.5, so almost anything works for me.
The Radars seem to be the popular cycling glasses of the month, but the RX versions look kinda dorky - google image search Oakley Radar RX. I went with the Flak Jacket XLJ and you can't tell they're RX at all without putting them on. The lenses look like any other sunglasses.
If you must Radar-style have full wraps, I think Ruby Project has some full-lens options.

Now that I have purchased them, I can post them here.
Enve 45 clinchers
Giro Trans HV -
They look like big, good, strong hands, don't they?
Got this Prologo Scratch Pro 134 Nack Hard Black saddle delivered today, but am sending it back...last year's model (?), don't like those ridges at the back on the sides...and it weighed too much (183 grams)...damn restocking fees (if anybody wants this at the good price I got just PM me).
Another piece of unnecessary stealth bling arrived yesterday:
got this for $20...comes to about $3.33 per tube
fried chicken and waffles.
Picked this up for $200 this weekend for a project bike...I'm so excited to start working on it!
