Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I know exactly how you feel. I got rid of my sram red-black components last year, switched to Campy SR11 and Chorus 11. Now I'm running SR11-EPS on the Noah Pro and planning to swap out the Chorus 11 pieces for Record EPS on the De Rosa.

link to seller? also do you think they are actual genuine bontrager cages or knock-off? I have never shopped with alibaba but i have to wonder about counterfeit products with the low prices.

these looked and felt perfect genuine to me, although they arrived without retail packaging...if they are knockoffs, then they are much better quality than the zipp knockoffs I bought knowingly on ebay. pm me and i'll send you the link if you like, although you'll see many sellers of this item on alibaba....and they did take almost a month to arrive...

Only have one 30 mile ride, but I love it. Unfortunately, 6-9 inches of snow, then rain right through the weekend for Minneapolis. Maybe next week I can ride again!!

Picked up this jersey because I realized I have too many 3/4 zip jerseys and I hate them.

https://www.twinsix.com/

Twin 6 is nice stuff, I have quite a few jerseys by them, all of them are really nice quality/construction. Nice designs too. They do fit a little snug, but I haven't minded that since I continue to lose weight.

I can't give a good recommendation. The seatpost collar snapped today during first use, big loud bang when I hit a rough spot in the road. The skewer closing mechanism feels like it has a cheap plasticky bushing grinding inside, so the close position feels iffy at best, and the metal (titanium?) rod is shaped to be smaller in the middle between the threads...overall doesn't inspire confidence. Either the ebay seller provided inferior knock-offs, or this J&L stuff sucks. I have a set of One23 blue skewers that feel solid, so I left those on...they weigh all of 46 grams.
