I am only joking around, but saving weight at the expense of braking is a choice I'll never make.

Honestly I don't see how you can sleep at night, knowing you could drop almost 300g by dumping those boat anchors that you call a "wheelset".
Lol trust me, I have thought about the weight of the wheels, but I like them to much to make the exception.

Yeah, I did read the next sentence, wherein you said "I'm only joking around, but [really, I'm not]."

    It's cool though. Moving on.

    Which expensive shoes?

J/k I'm just being an ass but if you want my honest opinion, NO they aren't. They look cool and that is all that matters, comfort too though.

If you're going from shoes with poor/mediocre fit to some that fit really well, they're worth every penny.

Coming from pearl izumi elite rd lll. They seemed to fit fine. But after 30/40 miles I would feel burning sensation on right forefoot side of my foot. It wasn't bad though.

I havent used them yet, but they look beautiful. Everuthing i read about Sidi is pretty much very good to excellent.

Does not compute. Yes, let's hope the Sidi are better for you.

Yeah. Can't say that I remember the procedure, which likely means that it was pretty easy. I know that I had the Garmin drivers installed before setting it up with TR. On one occasion, the USB stick had to be re-paired with the HRM and GSC-10 - putting on the HRM and spinning the crank was enough for TR to see the devices and get back on track.

Oh ok so you just connect the individual devices and not the garmin edge?

I've only ever connected the GSC and HRM. They have a new-ish option wherein you can connect the Garmin, but I've never felt the need to - your computer monitor is going to be right in front of you, so I don't see the value of having that info mirrored on to the little display of the Garmin. Maybe someone else here has played with it and has found a creative use for it, but I haven't bothered.

I swapped my spindles a couple weeks ago and it was super easy. Followed these instructions- http://www.rouesartisanales.com/article-2099744.html Some people have had issues getting the torx screw out, or recommend heating it up with a soldering iron...I didn't have any issues with either of my pedals without heating them. I've read that if you're installing new spindles in used pedals, the bearings can be notchy...so you may want to plan for that. I got my spindles from a place in Michigan for $63 shipped. PM if you have any questions or need help

This for my son/best riding bud ever (his first ever 26"er/"full size" bike),new Giant Revel 4...

Swapping the build kit from my Xtracycle (which, tho it had been getting ridden, wasn't getting "used") onto new frame/fork,built this up for myself, new Surly Troll...

I have a rack for the front as well (wanted to actually see the thing with 5 bottles on it,LOL,and only owning 1 pair of panniers, didn't need the front on for now anyways ),and no,that seat isn't adjusted to proper height, theis is pre-first ride

Also bought us both new helmets for the season, new gloves,5 new bottle cages and bottles (3 for me,2 for him...I only had 2 on the Xtracycle, and all others I have are on my other bikes),and renewed my subs to Dirt Rag and Bicycle Times. If you look at it from a "I needed a new bike hauler" perspective (I really did...the Wife doesn't like me using her Camry and it was our only car...),also bought my first Jeep,a '98 Cherokee Sport,a new hitch and Saris hitch-rack...

Vintage mtn bike,CX'er,29"er SS,and a Do It All Surly

I don't have the Garmin stick but the overall process for TrainerRoad is easy.

One thing you might consider is a 6' USB extension cable. I found that the TR app could easily see my HRM, speed, and power sensors but that the distance to the power made the connection drop periodically. Adding the extension put the ANT stick on the floor and improved the signal strength to the PM significantly.

Beta tools torque wrench, 4-20 Nm. I got it at the Beta-Max tool shop here in Budapest, they supply the working man who needs dependable tools. Beta Utensili S.p.A. Italy. I think this is one of those places that if they don't have the tool in the catalogue, well then, "you don't need it 'cause it ain't been made yet"...
I'm so slow I met myself yesterday...
