There is the list of things I don't need or want but would be cool to say I have. Probably not going there though.

Carbon tubulars.

And a De Rosa.

I subscribe to the theory that you haven't bought it until it's delivered or otherwise in the house...

And let's not get EPS to top it all off. :)

Speaking of De Rosa, I removed the Rotundo Pro handlebar from the Merak and replaced it with a Tornova Pro.

As if you needed any of this stuff.... But I do believe you still lack a new seatpost

Like a Lightweight with Lightweights?

sbxx1985 03-11-14 10:15 PM

Or if that's too boring, the Swift / AX project.

I decided to hold off on it. I found out De Rosa is releasing a completely redesigned Idol and from what I've seen so far, I wouldn't mind one with EPS.

Finally going to have my road bike on proper commuter status. Went ahead and got the disc version of the rack as I may build up a disc commuter bike in the future and would transfer this over.

FSA Metropolis bars in black for my KHS bike. It's been back and forth between MTB and road-going hybrid kid-hauler, but I'm about to make it into a permanent full-time utility/kid hauler bike.

Until it goes back to being a MTB again.

PatrickGSR94 03-13-14 12:09 PM

nah I don't think so. I've ridden a few trails and stuff and just can't get into it. It gets way more use as a road-going bike.

Plus it will finally give me a chance to get rid of the POS creaking 25.4 adjustable Nashbar stem (used with the handlebar that originally came on the bike) and use a regular 100mm 7 31.8 stem I've had on the shelf for several months now. I got that for the road bike but it ended up being too long.

How does that chain tool work? Do you stick the metal part on the tire lever into it to turn it?

Exactly. There is also a little chain hook on the side of the chain tool that comes off to hold the chain while you're working on it.
