Got a pair of these toe covers - I like the fact that they hook behind the heel.

This is the 4th Bell Sweep I've owned. Hopefully this one will be retired due to age instead of catastrophic damage. |

While awaiting the surgeon's okay to ride again, I've been spending a lot of time looking for bike gear. :-D I scored this Bontrager jacket at the local Trek Bike Store for 75% off. Final price was $33. It's a very slim fit, which I like but I'm glad I'm continuing to lose weight because I'm gonna need to drop a couple of pounds in order to close it. But who cares for that price?
Also scored a merino wool baselayer tank from Rapha for half price. I love wearing baselayers under my jersey in winter and summer and the two that for me are the most well-made and functional are Rapha and Campy multi-layer system --especially the waffle cut undershirts with the mock turtle collar. They wear and wash well. I have two that I use a lot and so far, they've stood up to the wear and tear. |

The 1.1 is the lightest fork felt makes. 300 grams. The 1.4 fork that came with my F5 has aluminum steerer and drop outs.

FINALLY! I found a killer deal on these Ritchey Logic Curve UD carbon bars. Been randomly checking Ebay for the off chance that I would find a good deal, but they were $379.99 all day long. The wife was watching some garbage tonight and realized I hadn't checked in several weeks. BOOM first item, my size $179.99 brand new in packaging, free shipping. "Buy it now"....YES PLEASE! Done and Done. super excited.

I bought it for its photochromic lens that change its darkness depending on brightness of the sunlight. As soon as I placed the order I regretted the purchase after seeing comments that recommended only for night riding and not for sunny day, but after testing today these get plenty dark in the sun (and clear for night riding!). Seemed too good to be true for less than $100 but turns out I got lucky. These are unbelievable for entry level glasses. |
A Brooks B17n at Frankenbike swap meet Austin TX, looks like never used but some shop wear, half price. I rode a B17 for a couple years, tried a narrow and loved it, now have several.
