Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Stopped by the bike shop yesterday to visit and ordered a new Ultegra 11-23 9-speed cassette for the Litespeed. The owner just called and said its here. I guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

Yep planetcyclery I cant wait for them to come. I was going to get the regular keo max 2 for $98 but I just figured why not spend the exta $15 bucks and get carbon. The white and black will actually go well with my wilier

Got a Garmin USB stick so I can use it with TrainerRoad.com when it starts to get too cold to ride outside.

Also ordered a thermal jersey but I can't find a picture

I just went on a EBAY shopping spree. In fact i should consider some EBAY addiction autoexclusion program!

For my 1948 Raleigh:
Brooks Challenge Toolbag/Dark Brown

Brooks Proofide:

Sturmey Archer Fulcrum Cable Clips

Sturmey Archer 3 speed Cable

Panaracer Pasela Folding 700 x 32

For my MTB:
Continental Travel Contact 26x1.75

The not so good news is that I live in Buenos Aires and this stuff will take forever to arrive!

I was tired of having to pry my cassette off to clean it so I replaced it with a new Novatec Anti-Bite Guard (A.B.G.) freehub purchased from BDop. The new one fits great and is only .02 grams heavier than the stock one.

Just bought this jersey, it's my first ever jersey and the most money I've ever spent on a single "shirt"

Hope it fits...pain for second day shipping. Really excited to lose the back pack and have a shirt with pockets.

how much are those shoes?

I'm looking to get a pair of dedicated fall-winter shoes because it gets really frigid here.

When I saw the email notification of your post, I was going to say something about arm warmers being mostly exclusive to the hardcore all-season riders around here.

Then I saw the pic, with the neon orange and reflective stripe, and you're right, it screams "FRED!!"
