Using something until it is completely worn out and then returning it for a new one? You were obviously satisfied with the item else you wouldn't have ridden in them for >17K miles. Total dick move IMOHO.

fingerless gloves are shredded so I got a new pair for $13. also picked up a rear rack trunk with fold out panniers, hoping this will be useful for bike trips with the family. you can never have too many bags, right?

A "new to me" wheelset: Chris King R45 laced to Stan's Alpha 340 rims, with Hutchinson tubeless tires. Light and loud. Can't wait to climb in them.

Just picked up this Merlin. I believe it's a 97 RSR. I just put on the Thomson elite seatpost. Picked up for $300. It currently has Armadillo tires but the sidewalls are heavily dry rotted. I'm looking to get a full cf fork since the front fork.
What does this bike normally resale for? I think I got it for a decent price :/

any special reason you put on the setback seatpost backwards?
looks cool, it has to be worth $300 if there's no frame integrity issues....

Pro jerseys at Meriline.com?
Meritline has a bunch of 2012 Pro team Jersey's with matching bib shorts for $36.99. I decided to pick up the Garmin set. They ship from China so I have no idea if they are authentic overstock or if they are cheap knock offs. They came and they look real but at that price I have my doubts.

There are no reviews on any of the their cycling jerseys so I thought I'd ask here.
The rest of the teams sets can be found here:

I set my last Amazon order to be delivered to my office because it's easier to get packages here. But then one of the items is slated to be delivered tomorrow, Saturday.

I had some stuff coming from Performance which they shipped FedEx. FedEx and UPS always drop packages off at my apartment complex's office, which is great since I'm not home during the day. Unfortunately, FedEx decided to pawn the final stretch of the delivery off on the USPS who always just toss a yellow slip in the mailbox and make me come to them. So, what was supposed to arrive yesterday I can't pick up until tomorrow (post office in my town is closed before I leave for work and after I get back to town from work).

Also:
Rule #17// Team kit is for members of the team.
Wearing Pro team kit is also questionable if you’re not paid to wear it. If you must fly the colors of Pro teams, all garments should match perfectly, i.e no Mapei jersey with Kelme shorts and Telekom socks.

Just got a Specialized S3 ordered straight from Specialized.
Should be here within a week! I am pumped.
I am sure I will ride much faster!!
Finally will match the new ride I got in December...
Yes, dork disc has to go, but maybe this fall when I get a tune up.
Cheers

Really great helmet. Cool, light, and it did its job when I put my head on the ground at 30mph in May.

I have to wait for it till Wednesday so I was going through a bit of buyer's remorse. I'm seventy-one and wondered if I'll actually use it or something physically will come up to prevent me from using it. Today, thank goodness that's passed. I'll make it work and at least I'll enjoy using it no matter how long I last. When I get off my elliptic (which I've been using every day for seven years) I feel great; the bike should be even more fun. Thanks for the encouragement.
