Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So pissed. Bought Shimano 105 chain, broke my f'ing KMC X10 chain ride home. Was out of seat rushing home and then just slammed into front of my bike, lost control and after falling, saw there was no chain on my bike. Another $30 down the drain, just bought the chain 1.5 months ago. Sucks. Hopefully Shimano chain will last longer. KMC quick link just snapped right off. I don't mean it slipped off, it snapped right off the pin.

Did what I should have months ago. Bought a wedge pack for under the saddle. Ordered Genuine Innovation Deluxe kit with a two Vittoria Ultralite tubes.
- Good kit. 3 CO2 cartridges, fancy looking cartridge inflator, two tire levers, patch kit and the wedge pack.

I don't know if I should rub this on my legs or smear it on some pancakes. Smells soooo good.

Ordered some water cages on Ebay for $20 for pair shipped. Destroyed the AL I had before, pant leg somehow caught the end of it and bent it beyond repair. Oh well. Went for one that doesn't have an end that would easily be caught on pant leg if I forgot to tuck it into my sock.

Any idea if it's analog or digital wireless? Some analog computers can be affected by high-powered flashing lights in close proximity to the receiver.

I will say that the customer service was excellent. When the rims wee delay I was emailed the day they were to ship. I received follow up emails with status. Great job Boyd Cycling.
Ditto on the Boyd Altamont's. Waiting for their arrival.

I just purchased the same shoes last week. Did yours come with the sole protector? I ended up paying another $25 for two lousy pieces of sheet metal.

That being said they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Yes, they came with the sheet metal and I paid $299+ tax because someone had purchased them special order, rode one day in them, returned them without the box, leaving the owner stuck with them.

They happened to be my size.

Would of came in handy on my 200k Sat, but atleast I'll have it for future rides! Just bought it for $22 shipped. Should have adequate storage, and I really need the map holder for my cue sheets.. I've been happy with my BV saddle bag so I figured why not..

I do not believe so. I got it on ebay from a guy who said it was never, not in original packaging and never used nor installed on a bike.

I included a link to the sellers account, I believe he has more in stock if you choose to contact him. It took him 3 days to ship it and he package it very well and ships via fedex
