I see everybody is doing a very good job filling the bike industry's pockets.
Not me. Nope. I haven't spent a dime since.......yesterday.
Actually, I can't find a pic of exactly what I have but I remember it was a long time ago I bought this massive 3-pack bundle of wet wipes (citrus-scented stuff) and after riding thru the rain on Sunday I gave the bike a good hosing down, easy dried, then figured I'd clean later.
Rather than go thru a spray & paper-towel routine, I used the wipes & a clean cloth behind to keep any streaks down and ya know what??........Worked GREAT!!!
Highly recommended vs spraying half of what you want on the bike into the air.........

It's less about the extra gear than it is the improvement in shifting smoothness and ease. The front shifting is drastically improved, at least when I compare my 5700 vs 6800.

Very nice Dunbar! Looking forward to your report and comparison to 5700. By the way, my rear derailleur cable frayed/broke at the shifter and I changed all housings/cables to Jagwire Road Pro. Feels like a different bike although front still needs considerable effort. (5700) I remember you had issues with DA wires fraying on you.

Picked up a new Schwable One for $17.99 damaged box only 
they only had one but it was a price I could not let go by.

Not a physical purchase but I had a GURU TT bike pro-fit today for the new winter TT bike build...thinking a K-Zero if the fit math works out

Not sure about the broken stuff but I love my Speedplays, and I love the fact they have the built in grease port no disassembling the pedal to relube and a bunch of other features I like about Speedplays.
