Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I dont know he does real nice combos check it out. @bianchi10 custom anything takes time. Crumpton type 5 took almost 11 months, I have learned to be patient.

The other problem I have with my club foot is the height of it. I did wear Sidi's in 2 sizes but couldnt ride more than 20 miles without severe pain in that foot. After I got the Bont's I have riden tons of metric centuries and 4 Imperials. To me best investment I have ever made.

Pretty excited to get them. I got colors to match my new Crumpton Type 5.
People spend $8,000 to ride a bike and not really have a passion to ride a lot, but there are a few who would love to ride a bike but have issues, and if spending $1,500 makes that passion come to life for you then it's money well spent. And as far as style points go...who cares!

Yeah thats my problem. I'm extremely impatient . Nice to see some of his choices. Still not my style aesthetically, but I'm sure they will be an amazing fit and last you a long time. What was it that made you go with the Rockets vs going with another custom set of Bonts?

Palo Alto bikes used to do them but discontinued them. So this changed my plan. I had plan on getting another set of Bonts. Vaypor Plus to be exact.

Lol I suppose I didn't realize he was distinguishing between an actual century and a 62 mile ride. Nvm I'm being dumb.

Loving these Craft AXC touring pants. Warm, windproof, full side two way zippers, pockets. Definite CX start line gear.

Finally landed one of these at a decent price... Maybe the end of the season, but it will help in the future..
My Lazer Genesis keeps dumping sweat on me- hopefully this will resolve that problem.

That was our team helmet last season and while it performed well in my crash, it was not comfortable to wear. My opinions on it were mediocre. I hope you have a better experience than I did.
