Standard is 53/39, a 52/36 is semi compact, still better then the 50/34, you will like it a lot but I wouldnt say its standard. also beautiful bike

New SPEEDPLAY ZERO and TI Spindles.
- The thread on the TI Spindle is longer but the main pedal shaft is the same length as the cromo.
- The TI spindle does not have a L/R indicator. I almost made a mistake when I installed it.
- Speedplay [$101.98] + TI Spindle [$30.18] = $132.16

Recently bought a Cygolite Pro 80 tail light:

It will replace a Serfas TL-60. I just hope it will last a bit longer than the Serfas. The problem was water and other road crud gettng into the USB connector on the bottom. It and the USB connector eventually rusted and lost connection.
The cygolite has it in the same place but seems to have a better rubber cover over the USB connector.

2015 Giant TCR on closeout. It's the low end model (Advanced 2 with 105) but it's light years ahead of what I was riding before.
Overjoyed. Except the remnants of the east coast blizzard have kept me off it since bringing it home. Using the old bike for the rollers.
