Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

my new purchase (Giant TCR full carbon) ... bought a few minutes ago off ebay ... used but in good condition with loads of extras and cheap ... I now have loads of spare cash to upgrade and get some better wheels etc ... I collect the bike on the weekend:

anyone know which model Garmin is in the pic (the seller has not replied yet, but he states that it's unused)

Yeah, it's an Edge 500. There were several colorways. the one above, blue and grey, orange and blue (for garmin/slipstream) and red, black, and grey.

Wiggle, this is their ASV kit. I've got a couple of kits from their Blok range, as well as some cheapie jerseys and liner shorts back when I started seriously getting into riding. Never been disappointed, so I'm giving their higher-end line a try

Why is there a rider weight limit advertised for this cassette? I've never seen that before.

In about a week or so. Trek Emonda SLR 10. I guess I need to learn how to fix a tubular tire.

Elite stealth cages for water bottles because I can not afford carbon on my new road bike.
Saddlebag for tools, tubes and such plus a bag for top tube when I ride across the state later this year.

oh yeah new bar tape for my commuter because it is 4 years old and hands are going numb while I ride.

$311.11 from Ribble.

Should perk up an old 2002 Fuji Roubaix nicely.

Recently got some Perfermance Elite (2016) bib shorts and a jersey. They fit and seem to work well. Can't beat $80 for both.

Arm coolers. Worth every penny so far. Of course, I got sunburnt anyway from swimming post ride then getting too drunk to care to put on sun screen. They really do keep your arms a bit cooler though. And they were the same price at the shop I bought it at as it is on Amazon
