Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

However, he isn't as dumb as you, guy that stole my single speed Fisher hardtail with RockShox fork and Mavic S29CCMAX wheels and many other Race Face components mountain bike. See the bike that was leaning on top of my mountain bike, the Cervelo, the bike you moved, to steal my Fisher, is much more expensive and irreplaceable. In fact the two cyclocross bikes hanging up that you passed to move my Cervelo; to steal my Fisher, cost more than the Fisher. So, I would like to thank you for stealing that old mountain bike; out of the bikes you could have stolen, you took the cheapest and probably the easiest one to replace.

Thanks again,
Have fun on my 29er!,
I've taken the morning off of work to alert all the bike shops in town,
Sincerely,
The previous Gary Fisher owner.

PS- I was running it ghetto tubeless, so when you flat it from road riding to work, just take to any of our local bike shops and they will happily fix your flat.

Brand new tube bought yesterday but got punctured by torn tire. I am not a mechanic so this is useless to me even as a spare. Hopefully somebody can pick up from me and put to good use.

Then just forgot where it was, only to go on an adventure to include sexy, yet sinister, aliens where the fate of the universe fell in his hands.

When I was UC Davis way back when, my POS "mountain bike" got stolen from the rack out side of my apartment. This was in the days before shocks and suspensions. basically a big heavy bike with rust marks, chipped paint, a broken front derailuer thumb switch and a tear in the handle bar grip. That bike was easily the crappiest, least valuable bike in the rack. It was locked with the same kind of lock all the other bikes had. I still can't figure out why they didn't take a nicer bike.
