Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Powertap price check please

Friend is selling a Powertap SL wired, last year's model, built up with 32 spokes to a DT rim. Includes HR strap and computer.

$550.

Good deal?

That sounds typical to me. OK price for what you describe. You tell us after you surf eBay and see what they go for.

That's a good price. Probably a better deal than average, but you might be able to find one for $500 or a bit under. Then again, you might better trust the history of this unit, and there's no shipping.

I highly doubt I could find one in the $400's, considering most on eBay are selling for over 6 (link below). I think I'll go for it and sell my Garmin 305 to cover the costs.
