2/14 Ride Report with some pics
So according to the weather people all last week Southern California was in for a soggy Valentine's Day. As such, I gave up hope on any group riding and had a few bottles of wine with the lady on Friday. Woke up yesterday at my leisure, and BAM! it's sunny and not a cloud in the sky. After a few errands, it was ride time. Total ride is somewhere in the 35-40 mile range with about 1700 feet of climbing I guess. I don't have a computer so I'm going by what others have told me. It was a chilly 55 but I managed with arm and leg warmers. Total time about 2 hours or so.

Going up. Not a cloud in the sky.

Beginning of the descent. In the middle of the descent I cam across a fellow roadie with a flat. Stopped to see if he needed help but he was ok. Hopefully Karma is good to me
I hope he didn't unicycle the whole loop
Headed home
And, since it was V-Day, I stopped off for a rose enroute.
Cheers

Gorgeous weather. Yesterday was definitely amazing weather. The sky was pure blue, the all the mountains were covered in snow and they seemed much closer than normal.

I ....FREAKING....LOVED IT.
I'm jealous. We have some pretty nice places to ride here in North Carolina, but I can still be jealous can't I?

Had almost as good of a ride as you, but better. Temp leaving the house around 8:45 was 60F and about 72F when coming back. Clear skies, hardly any wind whatsoever to speak of, and feeling good on top of it made for a very nice and fast ride (for me at least). Unlike a lot of you guys that do large amounts of climbing, I like to actually pedal for the entire ride rather than just pedal for half the ride and coast downhill for the other half!
