Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'd get the Felt because the shop that sponsors my racing team sells them and I could get a killer deal.

That is a good reason. My sponsor shop can get killer deals on both. Its both a blessing and a curse.

Fit is important. It will be a major factor when I get it. I was looking more for 1. a way to kill some time and, hopefully, 2. some stories on how these two bike handle.

I'd get the Scott... because I ride a Scott now, and the Addict is my dream bike... especially the R1.

Or, if you've got the coin for an R1, go all-out and get the LTD. What's an extra $5k?

Even the CR1 is a step-up from my ride... I'm on the Speedster s20. Aluminum Baby!

Not bad; I like it, but it's a no Addict.

I voted for the Felt.....BOTH are very nice bikes. The Felt seems like a better buy for the $$......

I have a CR1 Pro but have ridden the Addict R1. I have not ridden a Felt F1, but I have ridden an F3. I like the Scotts better for sure, but I used to have a Felt and they are good bikes as well. Nothing bad to say, just like the CR1 and Addict better.

Don't know if you care about the warranty or not, but the Felt has a limited lifetime warranty and Velonews reported that the Scott only has a five year warranty in their AToC issue.

I test rode F1. Great bike, funky geometry. Plus why it comes with 110mm stem is beyond me.
