Cervelo Test Team Missing in Action at TOC: Send in PCad

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cervelo Test Team Missing in Action at TOC: Send in PCad

Cervelo Test Team has been missing in action thus far in Tour of California. They are quite far behind. Is this part of a grand strategy? Personally I believe that it is time to call up Bike Forum's Own PCad from the minor leagues and put him in the line-up. He has the right bike, unless he just traded it in on a Kestrel.

Cervelo Test Team could be bad for Cervelo's image if this is the best that they can do. When you look at team standings there is no hiding what bike those guys are on. Everyone here likes to disparage Trek yet look where those guys are at in the Tour of California. And look at Lance. He is not satisfied with just kissing the podium girls.

So they have been distracted by the large cracking sounds eminating from their bikes?

Or was that "chain slap"?

They probably encountered wheel clearance issues but were told to power through it until the recall comes out.

(Are they really at the TOC? Versus hasn't said a word about them.)

this almost makes me wanna not post!

The team is still very new. If we see this post a year from now then there might be reason to doubt their professional ability. as for now give them a chance to get into the racing groove. I'm more surprised there is little to no mention year of christian vandevelde... where's my boy? I think we will hear more of him in Solvang.

The team's goal must be to bring Sastre 1st on the Champs Élizés in the end of July. ATOC is not an objective.

So this means you think Rock is going to win the TdF?

1 stage win in 1 minor race in February is not what the ProTour teams are after folks.

We know the bikes are outsourced to BD, key question is if the decals are made in Canada or China. ABH can kick off another 7 pages of discussion...

That explains the sloppy paints jobs, with all the rain, cool temps and humidity you just can't get a good coat.
